The Daily Deal Summit Europe on the March 19th was home to its fair share of announcements.
Dealgecco is an international B2B marketplace for deals, connecting suppliers and sellers together. Founded in Berlin in 2011, Dealgecco works with over 200 daily deal sites worldwide, reaching 22 million newsletter subscribers and five million daily unique visitors from over 52 countries.
Gerard Doyle, sponsor at the DD Summit Europe said: “We are looking forward to giving our users all sorts of new deals through our partnership with Dealgecco. These will be exciting times for daily deal subscribers.”
Antonia Hammer, founder and CEO of Dealgecco went on to add that, “DiscountVouchers.co.uk daily deal subscribers are sure to benefit from our international expertise. We work with more than 200 merchants and partners and help people save money at all sorts of top brand stores.”
It would seem DiscountVouchers are on a roll as another agreement this time with Secret Escapes was announced the same day between the two event sponsors. Secret Escapes is a members-only discount site with up to 70% of luxury hotel and holidays in the UK and abroad.
Secret Escapes founder, Troy Collins commented: “It’s great to be able to announce such a progressive partnership, we’re really pleased. Secret Escapes specialises in supplying high quality travel packages and the new daily deals will include UK weekend break through to luxury long-haul trips.”
Saurav Chopra, founder and CEO of Huddlebuy, also used the DD Summit Europe as an occasion to announce and partnership with a UK energy broker, and the launch of a group buying initiative to make energy bills cheaper for businesses. ‘Power Cut’, will regroup 5000 businesses together and will see discounts from 30% to 70% to their energy bills.
